Elephant vs Giraffe
As you know, Hunter refers to his penis as an "Elephant". This week he asked me if I have a penis. When I told him no, girls have vaginas, he laughed and said, "Does your Chachina look like a giraffe?"
Apparently in his eyes, all private parts must look like zoo animals!! :) HAHA

Life is flying by!
Its been a while since I've typed any actual content to our family blog. Life seems to be just flying by! The boys are getting bigger and bigger everyday so I thought I would share some of their personality traits at this stage in there life.
Hunter is going to be 4 years old next month. I honestly can't believe it, I still remember everything about the day he was born. He is such an absolute joy and an amazing big brother. He's VERY stubborn, but its one of my favorite things about him. He knows exactly what he wants and doesn't want & is never afraid to voice his opinion to us. He negotiates EVERYTHING! He tells us he loves us constantly which melts my heart every time. He is so eager to learn, he reads every book that crosses his path & practices writing his letters and numbers every single day. This is not something we make him do, he just loves to write. He starts pre-school in September which he is very excited to do. I'm not particularly thrilled to share my time with him but he is ready and so excited. If you ask him about Billy and I, he will tell you that "Dad is the best snuggler to fall asleep with" & "Mom scratches my back better than anyone!" Hunter calls his penis his "Elephant" and insists he can pick anything up with it when its "hungry" :) He's ALWAYS NAKED!! He sleeps naked & is naked at all times in the house. Obviously, we insist he gets dressed if he goes outside but the minute he steps foot back in the house, the clothes are on the floor by the front door. He honestly sometimes takes them off on the front porch while we are unlocking the door. He's lightning fast! He loves to show off when we are out in public at times but can also be quite shy until he warms up. He is always shy when trying new things. He likes to watch and only when he's ready will he participate. He snores SO LOUD! He loves getting his haircut, he climbs up in the chair and chats it up with Kay his barber. His favorite foods are Sushi, Z's Pizza & sandwiches. His favorite drinks are water and dads strawberry banana smoothies. He desperately wants a baby sister & has been asking for months now!
Blake is 20 months and growing like a weed! He is the easiest & happiest baby I have ever known. He is so sweet and always happy to just be included. He started walking right before his first birthday and has never slowed down. He keeps up with Hunter and all the big kids with no problems! He loves to "Fight" which means sword fight with our Jake & the Never land Pirates sword and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sword. He loves to eat! He looks up to Hunter so much, he wants to do everything that Hunter does. He is terrified of getting a haircut and screams the entire time. He is obsessed with "Milkies" which is nursing. He refuses to stop! :) He sleeps from 7:30pm to 5:30am, this is very consistent now. His favorite items are his, "t-shirt" which is my tank top that he took over when he was younger & his two "puppies." His favorite food is Multi Grain Cheerios with milk. His favorite movie is Hotel Transylvania, he asks to watch is constantly. He loves for me to read to him and his favorite game is Hungry Hippo. He loves Billy and asks for him every morning when he wakes up but he is true Mommy's boy. He's at the age when I am his world. I must admit, I soak up every second because I know how quick this stage passes. He would sit with me and snuggle all day and I absolutely love it!
Both boys love each other so much. It makes me so happy to see the relationship that they have and how close they are. Billy and I are so proud of the family that we have and thank god for our blessing everyday. We are also very excited to share with everyone that we are expecting a third baby January 6, 2013!!! This ride just gets more exciting every year!!!
