Happy 3 month birthday little man!

Just a flashback to 3 months ago, he was so tiny :)

Now our little monster is 3 months old, can you believe it!?!? He is getting so big and more and more fun everyday. Here are some pictures of our little charmer this week! :)

Kissing his ghost that Aunt Kim and Cousin Paige gave him

His favorite part of the day, bath time with Dad

Dad made sure to cover his man goods :)

HUM BABY!!
Outing with mom and our friends Gemma & Jordyn

Enjoying looking up at the sky, this was right before his nap so he looks very tired.

Practicing sitting up in his bumpo chair.

Billy and I are very blessed to have such a great little guy.

Finally a posting this week

I haven't posted to much this week, Hunter was not feeling well so we stayed inside pretty much all week trying to recover. Thursday we ventured out for a short time hoping that some sunshine would do the little guy good. We walked around Downtown and did some window shopping, Hunter rode in the Baby Bjorn which he absolutely loves.

Friday he was pretty much back to normal so we went to Walnut Creek and visited with Auntie Allison & Cousin Grace. Hunter slept the majority of the time but I had a wonderful time visiting with Ali and getting to see precious little Grace in action. She is such a doll, I can't wait for her and Hunter to be best buds as they grow up together! Here are two pictures that she made for Hunter and very delicately placed them on him while he slept, it was adorable!

We left Walnut Creek and decided to get some lunch and have a picnic at the park. Hunter loves laying on the grass looking up at sky and the trees. Here he is enjoying the outdoors.

Saturday Billy took the little man up to see the family and then to Keith's house to cheer on Notre Dame. Billy said Hunter sat with Uncle Justin for about an hour and really enjoyed it. Sadly he didn't get a picture but he said it was very cute! :)
Here he is with Daddy
Uncle Larry seems to have a real way with the little guy. I think all that talking he did to my stomach when I was pregnant really paid off because Hunter is at total ease with him.

Hanging out with Uncle Joel

So far its been a great weekend and tomorrow is Sunday, family day!!

He Sleeps!

Since we had Hunter we have been very good about keeping a routine. We always do the same thing, 7pm bath, feeding and asleep in his own bed. This started when he was about a week old and he has never slept in bed with us so I was hoping it would eventually pay off. Up until about 3 weeks ago little H was waking up on average every 2 hours to eat. Eventually he started sleeping 4 hours when we first put him down and then waking up every two hours after that. The last 3 days he would sleep 4-5 hours, wake up, eat and sleep another 3-4 hours. Well last night our hard work paid off!! :)
The nightly routine was the same but he was a bit fussier than usual and it took us a little longer to put him to sleep. He kept waking up and didn't actually go to sleep until about 10pm. I remember laying in bed hoping he would sleep at least 4 hours because we had a big day today and I didn't want to be exhausted. The next thing I knew I was waking up at 5:50am and he was still asleep. Thats right, he slept 8 hours!!!! :) First I looked at Billy and thought somehow I hadn't heard him and he had gotten up. When he said he hadn't I had to go check on him because I thought for sure something was wrong. When I saw everything was ok I got his bottle ready and made my coffee and he woke up within about 10 minutes but after he ate he went back to sleep until 8:15am. It was a beautiful morning!! :)

Buddy Walk for Cole

Today we went to the Buddy walk to help support Cole. It was a great day with friends and family as well as a huge success for the Down Syndrome connection. We love you Cole!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Today we celebrated Ashley's birthday at the house with the whole family. It was a ton of fun as always. I just love the Romero Family, they are my second family and we always have a blast together. I have serious baby brain however because I reminded myself everyday this week about our plans to celebrate on Thursday. If you know Ashley; birthdays are a very big deal to her and I try my hardest to make them very special for her. This year I woke up to early so I waited until I knew she was awake to call her and sing her happy birthday as I do every year, sadly when she answered the phone I blanked out and said, "I can't remember why I was calling". It was so pathetic!! She is wonderful though and forgave me and laughed about it. Here are some pictures from the big day. Happy Birthday Ashley, love you!

Family Time

Yesterday we decided to give Dad a little rest since he has been going into work early all week. We went up to the compound to visit all the family. It was great for Hunter and I to see great grandma again for the 2nd time in one week. Also this time Grandma, Aunt Jo, Aunt Mary and Robbie were there so the little one got to see everyone. Grandma was very excited to see the little man! I remembered my camera this time but only got a couple shots because the memory card was full, bummer! :(

It was pretty cute watching the kids get excited about holding little Hunter (thankfully with Aunt Jo's help) I just loved hearing sweet little Cole say, "Hunter" over and over again. You could tell how much he loves his cousin already. It was precious!!
