Pajama time :)

Tonight we took the dogs to the dog park and got back a little late so instead of giving Hunter his usual bath we took a shower together and then put on our feet jammie's. It was so much fun!
One day he will definitely hate this picture! :)

Surprise in the mail today!!

Today we got a package in the mail from Grandma Mary, we were so excited!!! Its funny how presents you love change when you have a baby. This was the perfect present. We were on our last can. Plus, its not only the formula we use but the Costco size cans! Thank you mom!!

2 months old this week.

OK I know 3 posts in one day is a little much but I wanted to show you a picture of Hunter looking so old in his stroller today. He is two months old this week, time has really flown by.

Also, last night he slept from 8:30pm to 2am. YEAH!! I actually woke up in a panic and ran to his room convinced he wasn't breathing because he had slept so long. I hope this is the beginning of some new sleeping habits. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us! :)

We just wanted to thank Sophie, Shane and Jack for all of the clothes. Billy is always bringing home the cutest clothes from Sophie at work and we truly appreciate it. The picture is of the latest collection. Hunter will wear them proudly! :)

Busy Day in San Jose

Last Wednesday Hunter and I had a busy day. First we went to see my friends Robin & Danny in San Jose and meet there new daughter Ella. She is beautiful and Robin and I got a good laugh seeing each other go from wild teenagers to pregnant wives to mothers. It was a great feeling!Congratulations Gonzales family, Ella is such a gift!!

After our visit we went to my work and Hunter got to meet everyone. We ended the day at Grandma Marys house and surprised her when she got home from work. It was great to visit with Grandma and Uncle Thomas. They were very happy to see us and we had a wonderful visit. Grandma gave Hunter his bedtime bath and held him all night. We didn't get home until almost midnight we were having so much fun! Below are a couple pictures of Grandma enjoying her time bonding with the little one.

Dinner out with the Romero Family

Last week Hunter and I went to dinner with Ashley, Dennis and Danita at Mimi's cafe. It was so much fun to visit with the family. We use to get together for dinner more often but since the baby was born its been a little harder. Hunter was great, Danita held him through the entire dinner and he was happy as could be. After dinner we went over to Babies R Us and did a little shopping together, she spoiled him as usual! :) We had a blast!!

Here is a picture of the bouncer that Robbie let us borrow to see if Hunter liked it. He loved it so much he could not stop laughing and then passed out! It was great!

Hunters New Quilt

Here is a picture of the most adorable quilt that Aunt Mary made for us. Mary, Robbie, Allison, Noelle & Shanna had everyone decorate a square of fabric at our baby shower and Mary has been working hard at putting it together. It turned out so perfect and we are so grateful! Its hard to see all the detail that went into it but it is truly beautiful. Thank you so much Mary, little Hunter is so lucky to get such a great gift!

Hunter is now 6 wks old and growing like crazy. Last week we packed up all his newborn clothes because they no longer fit him, I could not believe it. I realize to others he is still tiny but to me he is getting so big!
Since Billy is working and I was getting very bored at home we've started taking daily outings. We started out with quick trips that were easy and close to the car in case he cried and I needed a quick getaway :) I know this sounds silly but to a new mother like me, it was very necessary. Yesterday I was feeling brave and after a Dr appt we spent the whole day out shopping just the two of us. I was so proud of us, he was amazing!!

Rosenberg Family Visit

Last weekend my sister Rachel and my niece and nephew Mikaila & Bobby came to visit. I was so happy to have them here and they were very excited to meet little Hunter for the first time. We spent a day with the entire family at my moms by the pool and the second day at my house relaxing. They were very helpful waking up every two hours with me to visit and feed Hunter. Mikaila is only 9 yrs old but already a natural little mother, it was adorable! Rachel has waited a very long time to be an auntie and was very excited when she heard the news that Hunter was finally coming. She has already proven to be the best aunt ever and he is only 5 weeks old.
