Christmas at our house could not have been any better this year. Hunter is at the age where he really enjoyed everything that the season had to offer. Elf on the shelf was a HUGE hit. Every morning Hunter would come running into our room to get us up and go find the elf. His little eagle eyes found him no matter where he was! We often found him whispering to our elf (Lance Rock) that he had been a good boy and a really good big brother. My favorite thing was when he would tell us with a very serious face, "never touch the elf or he'll lose his magic!" We enjoyed driving all over town looking at Christmas lights and singing Christmas Carols. We read Christmas stories every night in front of the tree, usually starting and finishing with Hunters favorite, Frosty the Snowman!
Of course, lets not forget our biggest blessing this year, little Blakey Boy!! He was obviously to small to enjoy Christmas like we did but he brought the joy to us. He is such a little angel, we could not ask for a better baby.
Here are some pictures of Christmas morning at our house,
The look on Hunters face when he saw what Santa brought was priceless!!
Looking at the empty plate of cookies we left out for Santa
Looking to see if the Reindeer ate the food we left for them in the front yard.
Opening his stocking with Dad
He was thrilled to see that Santa had brought him the fijit he has been asking for
Blake had a hard time staying awake during all the excitement
So Hunter was happy to go through his stocking for him
"It looks like the wheely bug?!"
"It is the wheely bug!!"
Riding over to his new lego table. Notice the look on Billys face :)
This is the organizer Grandma Mary brought over to organize all the new legos her and Grandpa got Hunter. Does she know her daughter or what, I love to organize!! :)
Blakey woke up and Hunter wanted him to sit by him while he played with all his new toys. We thought we were done until.........
Nonnie and Papa showed up with a new bike for Hunter
And a very cool little play mat for Blakey boy, he loved it!
Happy New Year everyone! Can't wait to see what 2012 has to offer!!
