And then there were three…….

Its official, Baby Cummings is on the way!
Billy and I had our first Dr’s appointment and finally got to see our little bundle of joy. He/She is doing great and looking healthy at 10 weeks, our due date is August 16th. We were thrilled to see the heartbeat going strong and his/her little arms moving around. To be honest I was expecting to see a tadpole swimming around so you can imagine my surprise when we saw an actual baby. It was such an amazing experience and quite honestly what we needed after being so sick for so long.

Dr. Vogel is the doctor we decided on and she is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Alyssa for your wonderful recommendation, I could not have asked for a better Dr.

We decided to start this blog because of how much I have loved keeping up with baby Grace & her parents Justin & Allison (Billy’s cousins). We are hoping that everyone will enjoy the journey of Baby Cummings right along with us. We are so excited to be starting this chapter in our lives and can't imagine doing it without all of our loved ones.

    We are so happy for you! Your baby will be a truly amazing addition to your life and you will soon start to wonder how you lived without him/her. So sorry to hear you were sick (I know how that goes...) but it WILL be worth it! Can't wait to follow along with you!

    What a wonderful journey you are about to enter, one that makes you feel good and warm inside just knowing what you both created together. I can't wait to hold my grandchild in my arms, I have been so excited since I was told that you guys were going to have a baby. So I am going to start a little tradition with me and my grandchild, just for him/her and me. I am going to spoil my grandbaby because isn't that what grandparents are suppose to do. No matter what happens during the nine months of carrying that child, once he/she is here and they put the baby in your arms you will be thinking it was all worth it. I love you two so much, Mom (grandma).

    And so the journey begins...and what a wonderful journey it is. It almost makes me cry just thinking about about how happy the three of you are going to be. I can't wait for my new neighbor to arrive so we can take long walks with our strollers together:) You both know how long I've been looking forwad to this and am here for you for whatever you need be it be a way to get your overnight bag to the hospital because you forgot it or a babysitter:)
