Family Time

Yesterday we decided to give Dad a little rest since he has been going into work early all week. We went up to the compound to visit all the family. It was great for Hunter and I to see great grandma again for the 2nd time in one week. Also this time Grandma, Aunt Jo, Aunt Mary and Robbie were there so the little one got to see everyone. Grandma was very excited to see the little man! I remembered my camera this time but only got a couple shots because the memory card was full, bummer! :(

It was pretty cute watching the kids get excited about holding little Hunter (thankfully with Aunt Jo's help) I just loved hearing sweet little Cole say, "Hunter" over and over again. You could tell how much he loves his cousin already. It was precious!!

Today Hunter and I went and met my friend Gemma and her daughter Jordyn for coffee and a walk at the park. We had some much needed mommy time as well as some exercise. The pictures are of Hunter all bundled up sitting on my bed waiting for me to get dressed.

Great Grandparents

On Saturday night Hunter and I met my mom and went to visit Great Grandma Adeline and Great Grandpa Antonio at there house. We had a wonderful visit. We had coffee and pastries around the table which is kind of a tradition with the ladies in our family. We sit around the table sipping coffee or tea and chat, it is always a good time.

So today Hunter and I decided to go visit Great Grandma Eve. We stayed for about 3 hours and had a great visit. It is so nice to be off of work during the day so we can go hang out with Great Grandma and still be able to get home in time for Dad to get home from work. Today we got lucky and when we got up to the house Uncle Larry and Uncle John were there with Aunt Robbie and cousin Shelby & Cole so we got to visit them for quite a while as well. Sadly on both my visits I forgot the camera so I don't have any pictures to post but it was nice for Hunter to get to see all his Great Grandparents this week.

What a great Sunday

Today we had a great Sunday with the family. We spent the first part of the day cleaning out our closets and rearranging our bedroom. I get bored and like to rearrange the furniture and organize parts of our house pretty often which Billy isn't always thrilled about but I think he secretly likes it because he always loves the finished product. While I was working on getting the house finished Father and Son took a little outing to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner. The picture below is them representing Canada in there matching Roots sweatshirts that Aunt Sue got for them, they looked absolutely adorable! Billy decided to make Sushi and Bok Choi for dinner which we also took a picture of. Dinner was delicious and right as we sat down for the night our wonderful neighbor came over and brought us some homemade chocolate cake. We ate it so fast we didn't have time to get a picture! :) Now the little one is in bed and I'm hoping we get a good nights sleep to finish off out great weekend. Have a good night!

Father and Son Day :)

Today Billy and Hunter were on there own without mom around from 9am to 5pm. I called several times throughout the day and Billy told me the baby was fussy but they were fine so I felt good about it. At one point they went to a new bakery down the street and got some cookies and met the people who worked there which I thought was very sweet. On my way home I called and Billy was definitely ready for a break but sounded like they had a great day. This is how I found Hunter sleeping on dad when I got home, I lost it laughing!

Our big boy!

Hunter is a big boy! He just had his 2 month appt and got his shots. Everything went great and he is in the 95 percentile of kids his age, according to his pediatrician he will likely be 6'1 . He is 13 pounds 7 ounces and 241/2 inches long. Basically he is 2 months old but the size of a 3 1/2 month old. The Dr made sure to reassure us that his height, weight and head circumference are all proportioned and is just a big boy with nothing to worry about. Billy and I were very proud of him though because he took all those shots like a champ.....just like his mama! :)
